We recently spoke with Victoria from Coastal Homes about using Homepacks and a recent build...
We started in about 2002, so 21 years ago. We run five crews most of the time and basically move from house to house.
We were small and needed a catalogue of house plans for people to look at, so it gave them something to flick through.
None. It's a great concept; I Googled it, found Homepacks, and have used the plans ever since.
Unless your client is in the trade, they often cannot visualise things. So, if they can see an image paired with a plan, they can go, "Okay, we like this," and we can make modifications from there. The people coming to us have seen the plans, and the artists ' impressions are aligned with what we do.
Yep, definitely!
One has been built six times and another plan three times, so nine so far!
Definitely, it's been brilliant!
This one is in Mangawai; another [from the same plan design] was built in Waipu, and a third version got constructed in the Coromandel.
Brilliant, We've found them really useful, can't complain at all!
